When the days start getting longer, and the weather starts warming up, suddenly all you can think about is teeing off, sand traps, and 5 irons. We know the feeling! That’s why we selfishly did a little “research” to learn where we should plan our next spring golf outing.

The site of the 1978 World Cup, and six straight years of LPGA Tour events make the Princeville Makai Club one of the most historic courses in the US. All 18 holes sit on a rolling plateau above Hanalei Bay on the Pacific Ocean. It doesn’t get much more dreamy than that.

Gulf Shores, Alabama is practically synonymous with Spring Break. With nine golf courses and over 22,000 rooms (everything from luxury condos to chain hotels), it’s no wonder! Golf packages start around $70 per golfer per night, which just might leave you with enough fun money to hang out with other Flora-bama spring breakers on the state line at night.

Myrtle Beach is another place with an excellent Spring Break reputation, and for good reason. If you’re on a budget, Mystical Golf could be your ideal location. It was rated “The Best Value in America” by GOLF Magazine, and has three award-winning courses. If you want to take a day away from the course, there are some great beaches less than 50 miles away!

Not in the mood for a beachy locale? How about a lake? How about 11 lakes? Hot Springs is located at the foothills of the Ouachita Mountains in Arkansas, and is called “a community of lakes surrounded by land.” The weather is beautiful in spring, but you’ll probably want to bring some extra golf balls with all that water around.

If you’d rather be West than South, Saddle Creek Resort in the Sierra Foothills is a great option. It was ranked 8th by Gold Week Magazine for Best Public Access Courses in California. It’s a great family vacation, too, with all amenities within walking distance.

No matter where your spring golf outing takes you, you’ll want to make sure your swing is on parwith your golf buddies. Start practicing with Rokform’s golf shooter, and you’ll be able to perfect it!

Which of these courses would you rather play? Leave us a note in the comments section below.
