Last week we put out the most common features to expect from Samsung. Here’s how we did.
Product names
Rather than moving in chronological order from S10 to S11, Samsung revealed that it decided to jump the Galaxy names forward with S20, S20 Plus, and S20 Ultra.
Galaxy S20 display sizes
We’d predicted that the S20 would have a 6.2 inch screen, and the S20 Plus would have a 6.7 inch screen, and we predicted those models correctly. However, we did not predict that the S20 Ultra would have a 6.9 inch screen.
New cameras
It’s safe to say that the new Galaxy cameras exceeded our expectations. We had predicted that all phones would feature three cameras. This is true for the S20. Excitingly, the Unpacked 2020 event revealed that the S20+ and S20 Ultra both feature quadruple cameras: ultra-wide, wide angle, telephoto, and DepthVision cameras.
New colors
We predicted that the phone would be available in four different colors, cosmic black, cosmic grey, cloud blue and cloud pink. In reality, there are only three – purple, black, and gold.
5G
As predicted, the S20 line-up will 100% support 5G.
