Photos, Where HEIF and ProRAW Are Not in the Same Universe
Apple publishes ProRAW at approximately 25 MB at 12 MP and approximately 75 MB at 48 MP, and says ProRAW files run 10 to 12 times larger than HEIF or JPEG. Divide, and a standard 12MP HEIF lands near 2 to 2.5MB. Derived, not published, but the two Apple figures constrain each other tightly.
