iPhone 6s and 6s Plus Cases Now Available!
So, Apple executives announced the new iPhone 6s and 6s Plus and we couldn’t be more excited! While the new phone will keep the same general overall physique, aside from the new, beautiful rose gold option. BUT there are a lot of new features that make upgrading your iPhone very appealing.
The iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus is composed of a different grade of aluminum for its chassis, one that’s also used in the aerospace industry. This means that hopefully we won’t be experiencing bendgate 2.0! Additionally, the screen will now be made of chemically strengthened glass, making it one of the strongest and toughest screens on the market.
They also added what they are calling 3D Touch, which allows you to experience your iPhone 6s or 6s+ in two new ways, “peek” and “pop.” This basically means that the iPhone 6S phones will adopt pressure-sensitive capability that allows you to bring up secondary menus and actions when you press and hold the screen. It also allows you to pull up overlays of photos and videos without having them take over your entire screen, so once you navigate away, you’ll be right back to where you were before.
Apple is also upgrading it’s camera’s on the new iPhone model- these phones will tote an impressive 12-megapixel rear camera for crisper photos. The camera will now also be capable of taking up to 4k video, and the front camera will now have a 5-megapixel camera, as well as selfie flash capabilities.
The new Apple devices will be available for Pre Order starting on September 12, and will be officially available on September 25, 2015. Pricing starts at a reasonable $199 on a two-year contract, starting at 16GB of storage and going up to 64GB and 128GB for $100 more per tier. The 6S will also be available for $27 per month, or for $32 per month, you can lease an iPhone and then return it for a new model every single year. Pretty cool if you ask us!
