iPhone 7 Leaked Photos - What did they reveal?
The last few weeks have been a flurry of articles and leaked photos about the iPhone 7. It’s easy to get lost in all the he said, she said. Since we have a lot of skin in the game, we are trying to sit back and not get too fired up, but that’s next to impossible when the iPhone 7 release is likely just a couple months away. So we honed in on a few that caught our attention.
Headphone Jack or Not?
In order for the new iPhone 7 to be as thin as possible, one of the initial discussions was about the removal of the headphone jack. While sources have gone back and forth on this topic, the new headphones are rumored to be the same style bud, but will likely connect via the lightning port.
How many choices will you get for the iPhone 7?
Additional speculation exists around the number of iPhone 7’s that will be offered. The last number was three, consisting of a 4.7-inch, a regular 5.5-inch Plus model, and a premium 5.5-inch Pro handset. As they’ve gained some momentum from their iPad Pro’s recently, this could very well be a true upcoming offering for a third model option.
What about the colors?
While many have been concerned about the physical design (will they, won’t they with the headphone jack), what about the color offerings? With the last big launch of the iPhone 6, Apple unveiled the popular rose gold. In a recent MacWorld article, one writer suggests they may be leaning toward a “deep blue” to replace the space gray.
Two cameras better than one?
Lastly, a rumor that has been around for a while and frankly not an Apple idea are two rear cameras or a dual camera. Taking from the LG G5 and the Huawei P9, the dual camera offers better versatility whether taking wide angle or close up shots. With the phone being most people’s digital camera, this feature will be a welcomed change when getting that perfect shot of your morning cup of joe or delicious dessert.
